ARLINGTON, Va. – Washington Capitals defenseman Karl Alzner, Capitals’ Far better Halves including Mandy Alzner and Brandi Holtby, mascot Slapshot, Red Rockers and A hundred fans participated in a Capitals and Monumental Sports & Enjoyment Foundation service project to help clean up Fort Dupont Ice Market in Southeast Washington, N.C., on April Nineteen.

Saturday marked the fifth-consecutive yr that the Capitals and their fans have joined together to help spruce up Fort Dupont. Volunteers helped wax the boards, clean the glass, fresh paint the locker rooms and halls, put together goals and clean and organize hockey equipment within the arena. Outside volunteers cleaned as well as mulched tree boxes and floral beds and swept the actual parking lot and sidewalks.
